Paige Oneschuk, MA, BSc, is a Registered Provisional Psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologists (CAP) and a member of the Psychologists Association of Alberta (PAA). Paige is currently under the supervision of Dr. Phuong An, Ph.D, Registered Psychologist with 23+ years of experience in counseling and neuropsychological formal assessment. Paige bridges evidence based therapeutic interventions, performance psychology, and cognitive strategies to help high-achieving professionals, entrepreneurs, and athletes navigate stress, decision making, and emotional regulation.
Education & Training:
Paige earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Calgary, where she competed as a varsity middle- and long-distance track athlete. She later completed her Master’s in Clinical Psychology at Saybrook University in California, United States, Institutionally accredited by the WASC Senior College and University Commission (WSCU). During her graduate studies, her research thesis focused on persistent symptoms following mild traumatic brain injury (mTBI), and was the sole applicant to be awarded the Alan Watts Scholarship ($5,000 USD) for her work on the Meaning of Happiness. She also minored in Clinical Hypnosis under the teachings of Dr Eric Willmarth who is fully licensed clinical psychologist (40+ years) and currently sits as the President of the Michigan Society for Clinical Hypnosis and recent past president of the Society for Psychological Hypnosis (APA Div.30).
Declared Areas of Practice and Services Offered:
In accordance with College of Alberta Psychologists (CAP) guidelines, Paige’s declared provisional practice areas include Psychological Interventions as well as Formal Psychoeducational Assessment. For Interventions she focuses on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Strengths Based Therapy (SBT), Mindfulness Based Therapy (MBT), and imaginal exposure for presenting concerns related to anxiety, depression, emotional regulation, attentional difficulties and self esteem. Her therapeutic approach follows a client-centered, integrative framework and includes psychoeducation, collaborative treatment planning, application of structured therapeutic strategies, and ongoing evaluation towards therapy goals. In terms of formal assessment, she specializes in standardized psychoeducational assessment in response to referral questions related to giftedness, Specific Learning Disorder(s), and neurodevelopmental conditions such as Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and Intellectual Disability Disorder (IDD).
Clinical and Professional Background:
Her early clinical career included serving as a psychometrician for Alberta Health Services (South Health Campus Hospital) and for medico-legal private practices by several registered clinical neuropsychologists, using standardized test measures to assess complex cases such as Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), Multiple Sclerosis (MS), and other neurodegenerative disorders such as Dementia and Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI). These experiences shaped her evidence-based, data-driven therapeutic approach. She has received specialized training under the mentorship of Dr. Michael Yapko (depression and hypnosis) and Dr. Scott Miller (Feedback Informed Treatment [FIT] founder) and is certified in Trauma Informed Therapy for Intimate Partner Violence (IPV) during her practicum placement serving community mental health populations.
In parallel, Paige built a thriving career in technology and behavioral finance. She co-founded a venture-backed technology platform , leading research and design on human behavior, cognitive bias, and user psychology in Web 3. Her team received non-dilutive grants from Google and Amazon, was venture-backed by Startupbootcamp (EU), and formed ecosystem partnerships with Visa, Mastercard, Stripe, Google Pay, and Apple Pay.
She also served as a Venture Analyst with Transylvania Tech Hub, where she scouted emerging founders using psychometrics and behavioral profiling to identify psychological traits linked to startup success- a role that deepened her understanding of the founder psyche, resilience, and burnout risk.
Her thought leadership has been featured globally as a speaker at Banking 4.0 (Bucharest) alongside Romania’s Minister of Digitalization and Innovation, Bitcoin 2025 (Las Vegas), Tokenize Conference (USA), and Crypto Week (Madrid). She is a two-time Global Startup Awards CEE nominee and a member of the NYC Female Fintech Association.
